Student tickets and passes

If you're aged 18 and over, and a student at college or uni, there are a range of student tickets and passes for bus and tram that might be right for you:

Student tickets

Single fare tickets

If you're aged 18-21 and have a South Yorkshire address, either permanently or during term time, you can apply for a Zoom Beyond 18-21 Travel Pass.  This pass entitles you to travel for £1.50 per single journey on buses run by First, Stagecoach and TM Travel, or £2 on tram, anywhere in South Yorkshire.

7 day tickets

There are a range of 7 day student tickets which might work out better value for you, depending on your travel needs:

28 day and longer tickets

Operators also offer longer term tickets such as 28 day or even term tickets. It all depends on your own travel needs but operators will have details on their websites.

TravelMaster 18-22 Discount Card

The TravelMaster 18-22 Discount Card is a smartcard available to all young people regardless of where you live which is valid to the day before your 23rd birthday to travel in South Yorkshire. 

Young people with the 18-22 Discount Card can get 15% off adult TravelMaster tickets when purchased from a Ticket Vending Machine or through the TravelMaster website.
